Storyline

Dr. Eggman has discovered a powerful new energy source called the Phantom Ruby. He dispatches his elite Hard-Boiled Heavies to harness its power, but Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are hot on their trail. The heroes must race across familiar and brand-new zones, defeat Eggman’s forces, and prevent the Phantom Ruby from falling into the wrong hands.
